πŸ’‘ YOUR HAIR MATTERS

Fine Hair

For finer hair, we generally recommend medium-size braids and medium-size partings rather than automatically choosing very small styles.

Thicker / Dense Hair

For thicker hair, medium-size partings can provide a good starting point, with the final size adjusted according to your individual density, length and condition.

Breaking or Thinning Edges

If you’re experiencing breakage or thinning around the edges, cornrow-based styles may not be the best option.

Your stylist may recommend reducing tension around the hairline, leaving fragile areas unbraided or choosing a lower-tension alternative.

Tightly Coiled Hair vs Looser Curls/ Straight Hair

If you have tightly coiled hair and want a style to last beyond a few days, French and Dutch braids aren’t our first recommendation.

They can be considered for a short-term look when you’re happy with less than a week of wear, but your stylist may recommend a different option for longer wear.

For Wavy and Straighter Hair hair types (non- afro hair) you want to choose knotless styles, low tension styles and stick to medium sizes or larger to avoid exessive tension or hair breakage.

✨ YOUR STYLE CAN BE CUSTOMISED

Your result doesn’t have to look exactly like the picture you found online.

During your appointment, your stylist can discuss adjustments.

The goal isn’t simply to recreate a picture , it’s to create a style that works for YOU.

❀️ HAIR HEALTH COMES FIRST

A beautiful hairstyle should not require you to ignore your hair or scalp.

If your stylist notices significant breakage, thinning, tenderness, broken skin, swelling or another concerning change, your style may need to be modified, postponed or declined.

Your stylist does not diagnose scalp or medical conditions. Instead, they can observe changes, explain their concerns and recommend appropriate professional assessment when needed.

This approach is about protecting your hair while still helping you find a style you love.
