COMMUNITY & SOCIAL BRAIDING WORKSHOPS
These workshops are designed to celebrate cultural hair knowledge and create spaces for people to learn about braiding, textured hair care and the cultural significance of Afro hair.
Hair education is not just for hairstylists. Understanding hair, identity and culture is valuable for everyone.
These workshops are open to:
• students
• community groups
• young people
• professionals
• anyone interested in learning more about Afro hair and braiding
Popular for International womens day, Africa Day, Black history month etc
Participants will learn:
• the cultural significance of braiding traditions
• basic braiding techniques
• understanding different hair textures
• respectful hair care practices
• hands-on braiding experience
These sessions are designed to be interactive, educational and welcoming for people of all backgrounds.
