BEGINNER BRAIDING INTENSIVE
Career Foundation Course

This course is designed for complete beginners who want to build a strong foundation in professional braiding.

You will learn the core skills needed to confidently practise braiding and begin developing your technique.

This course includes:

• introduction to trichology (understanding hair and scalp health)
• understanding Afro hair and other hair textures
• basic product knowledge and correct product use
• braiding tools and equipment
• clean and professional parting techniques
• tension control for comfortable and neat braids
• preparing and sectioning extensions
• adding and blending extensions
• foundation braiding techniques

This is a hands-on intensive designed to give students practical skills and confidence to continue developing their braiding journey.

Core hairstyles taught:

• Cornrows and Stitch braids (Dutch braid)
• Knotless Braids
• Box Braids

For Hairstylists and Braiders
